Christmas and New Year shutdown
The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority’s (ASADA) office will be closed over the Christmas and New Year holidays (closed from Friday, 25 December and will re-open on Monday, 4 January 2016).
Our testing programme will continue to operate during the closure.
All Registered Testing Pool athletes must provide their whereabouts this summer. It is important to update any changes to whereabouts information over the holiday period. As we are transitioning whereabouts to ADAMS over this period we have included information on our website to direct athletes to the right whereabouts’ system.
Options on the ASADA Hotline (13 000 27232) may be limited during the closure. Following are some alternative options that might address your needs.
Our website might be able to answer your immediate questions. Run a search for the topic you are enquiring about.
Checking a medication
If you need to check an Australian medication or a substance, try the online Check Your Substances tool in the first instance. If you require additional assistance call 13 000 27232 and select option 1 to leave a message.
If you have a whereabouts enquiry, send an email or call 13 000 27232 and select option 2 to leave a message.
Stamp Out Doping
If you want to confidentially report suspicious doping activity in sport, ASADA’s Stamp Out Doping online form is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Therapeutic Use Exemption
For matters relating to Therapeutic Use Exemptions send an email to ASDMAC. Include in the email your next competition and when it is on.
Non-urgent enquiries will be dealt with when the office re-opens on 4 January 2016.
Media services will be limited during the shutdown period. Full media services will resume from Monday, 11 January 2016.
A range of anti-doping resources are available on this website and video content is available online.
All services will resume from Monday, 4 January 2016:
- General calls to 13 000 27232
- General emails email@example.com
We wish everyone a safe and happy festive season.
