Substances: Overseas anti-doping information
ASADA only provides information on the status of Australian medications. Athletes competing and travelling overseas should take common permitted medications with them e.g. painkillers and cold tablets.
Athletes and support staff can refer to ASADA's Overseas Information Sheet [PDF 49kb] for more information on travelling overseas with medications.
If an athlete must purchase a medication overseas they should check with the anti-doping information service of the country they are in and their team doctor.
The following countries provide information regarding their domestically available medications and substances.
