'Anytime, anywhere, any athlete - using any means within ASADA’s power to detect athletes using doping substances or methods.'
With powers enshrined in legislation to deal with anti-doping cases, athletes who choose to engage in doping can be assured the full weight of ASADA’s powers and processes will be applied to detect them.
ASADA conducts a national and international doping control program consistent with the World Anti-Doping Code, the International Standard for Testing and the International Standards Organisation (ISO) 9001:2000.
The program incorporates a targeted test distribution plan involving in-competition and out-of-competition sample collection, with an emphasis on No Advance Notice sample collection (sample collection conducted without warning any time, day or night), providing maximum detection across a wide range of sports and athletes
ASADA’s sample collection procedures are conducted by accredited Doping Control Officials, athletes and their support personnel can be confident ASADA’s doping control program meets, if not exceeds, world best-practice requirements.
