Australia's Driving Force for Pure Performance in Sport
Deterrence · Detection · Enforcement
The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) does not comment on any specifics of an athlete’s sample collection testing.
Testing is a requirement for athletes to undergo under the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Code and our testing procedures are consistent with the International Standard for Testing.
ASADA has a testing program that entails close to 6000 tests per year.
Sample collection is an Anti-Doping initiative conducted by ASADA on athletes anywhere – anytime in Australia.
Testing occurs as usual until ASADA receives an athlete’s retirement notification form.
