Athletes who have been identified for inclusion in ASADA's Registered Testing Pool (RTP) are required to provide accurate and timely Athlete Whereabouts Information directly to ASADA. Each athlete in ASADA's RTP will be notified in writing, of his or her inclusion in the RTP and the specific Athlete Whereabouts Information requirements and consequences for non-compliance will be outlined in this communication.
An athlete's inclusion in the RTP is based on a number of factors related to the athlete, level of competition, sport and ASADA's anti-doping program requirements. ASADA's RTP is constantly reviewed and updated and athletes can be notified for inclusion or removal on to the RTP at any time.
All athletes in ASADA's RTP must submit Athlete Whereabouts Information directly to ASADA in accordance with ASADA's requirements, until the athlete is informed otherwise.
Athletes included in ASADA's Registered Testing Pool (RTP) are required to provide quarterly Athlete Whereabouts Information directly to ASADA. The required Athlete Whereabouts information includes:

Some of the athlete contact details will initially be provided to ASADA by the athlete's National Sporting Organisation (NSO) to enable ASADA to notify the athlete of their inclusion in ASADA’s RTP. Once notified of their inclusion in ASADA’s RTP, athletes must ensure that they maintain the accuracy and completeness of this information on an ongoing basis.
NSOs also provide athletes’ personal details (name, date of birth, NSO, sport/discipline and disability, if relevant). Personal details can only be changed via the NSO.
Athletes are required to nominate one (1) location per day where they will be available for sample collection and provide the start time of the one (1) hour period that they will be at that location.
Locations nominated by athletes must be accessible to ASADA Doping Control Officials.
Athletes included on ASADA's Registered Testing Pool (RTP) are required to provide Athlete Whereabouts Information on a quarterly basis (i.e. every three months) and to update this information, as required, to maintain its accuracy.
Athletes must ensure their quarterly Athlete Whereabouts Information is received by ASADA by the due date or as otherwise specified.
