Athletes can choose to authorise another person to submit and update the required Athlete Whereabouts Information, directly to ASADA, on their behalf.
Assigning an Authorised Representative is done at the athletes own risk as the athlete remains responsible for the currency, accuracy and completeness of their Athlete Whereabouts Information. Athletes can assign multiple Authorised Representatives if they wish but must nominate each representative individually.
An Authorised Representative can act on behalf of multiple athletes.
Athletes can nominate an Authorised Representative by completing and submitting to ASADA an Authorised Representative Form available from Resources for Athlete Whereabouts. The form must be signed by both the athlete and Authorised Representative to be considered complete and forms can be mailed or faxed to:
Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority
Athlete Whereabouts
Mail: PO Box 339, Curtin ACT 2605
Fax: (02) 6222 4210
(International +61 2 6222 4210)
To access the AWOS, an Authorised Representative requires a user name and password. ASADA will send each nominated Authorised Representative a user name along with details of how to obtain a password.
Prior to an Authorised Representative being able to use the ASADA Anti-Doping Hotline to update Athlete Whereabouts Information on an athlete's behalf, they must have established their own identity verification questions in the My Settings page of the Athlete Whereabouts Online System (see Updating your AWI).
