» Minister's Statement of Expectations

Over the coming 12 months, ASADA will implement the key elements of the Australian Government's Tough on Drugs in Sport strategy. In line with the recommendations of the Report of Corporate Governance and Statutory Authorities and Office Holders (The Uhrig Report), the Minister is required to issue a Statement of Expectation to clarify the Government's expectations for ASADA and to establish formal lines of accountability between:

  • the Minister;
  • the Secretary of the Department of Communications Information, Technology and the Arts; and
  • ASADA's Chairman and Chief Executive.
